prom, part II

as we continue the saga from the last time...yeah, the limo didnt pick me up until FIVE. i was freaking out...i was seriously about ready to cry and/or call my dad and freak out, but it came right as i dialed the number. as it turns out, the limo driver was a complete recluse, couldnt follow directions, and had never ever BEEN to our town before. yeah. and he mumbled when he talked. it was late but we went to the spring dam anyway, there were only two people left besides us, heh. so that was kind of sad. but we got pictures there and then went out to eat, which was against my better judgement- it was fun, but the food wasnt that great and the service was sloooow. i wanted to get into the casino by 6:45 because that's when people started going in, so i kind of hurried things along and we made it. got pictures outside there, and cut in line to go inside. we got our actual pictures almost right away when we went in, and then, you know, prom happened. i danced most of the time, which was actually really fun cause it was so crowded and stuff...i love dance floors like that. i got to help present flowers to the prom court, and i was kind of worried about that but it went alright. that's really about all there is to say about the actual prom... we tore everything down in like a half hour, but amanda and i spent a large portion of that time in a bathroom because she stepped on glass and it got stuck in her foot (!) and it wouldnt stop bleeding. i cleaned it out with peroxide but we didnt have tweezers to get it out, and i didnt really like that idea anyway, so she had to hobble home on her heel like that. she never went to the emergency room either, it was still in her foot on monday, and i guess it either came out somehow or...dissolved. ahh. so then we went home, in the goddamn limo, and dave joined us. a bunch of trivial unimportant things happened, and we ended up at lauren's. now, dont get me wrong, i like lauren and all, but we all knew that there wasnt going to be anything really fun going on there. so i dont know why we went. but we ended up having table hockey and ping pong tournaments and watching the first part of 'ghost ship' (which was freaky and gruesome and i didnt like it). all plans of going elsewhere were botched because brent's mom showed up and didnt want us driving after 11 (nobody there had a senior license, and i guess there were a bunch of cops around) so they could either stay there or follow her home, and they did that. i was kind of despondent at the time and didnt feel like staying, so i went home at like 1:30. blah. but overall, it was fun.

i went in and picked up my pictures tonight, and almost one whole roll is screwed up because i re-used film. :/ oops. i can make out who the pictures were with, and most of those people got the same picture, so i just can get doubles of most of them. i was really freaked out at first though.
