i guess i could start with work. wednesday we went in for a training/orientation sort of thing, and it was weird. i was one of only two new people there and everyone else knew each other, obviously. so, you know, i felt all left out of the in-jokes and ish. But i figured it would get better as the summer progressed and it already has. saturday was supposed to be my first day but they called everyone working the second shift off because no swimmers were actually there. so today was it. they called some people that were scheduled to be in there off too, but not everyone…there were 6 of us total. we just sat and talked most of the time because absolutely no one came to swim except for like, 8 people in the last hour. and even then, we just sat there. hot jon was there :D…it was him, nick, emily, amy, and the other new guy, blair. anyway, i thought nick and jon (who isnt single, by the way) were going to be hard to talk to, but they weren’t. at all. they’re in a band- they’re going on tour in a week, and before that they’re having a cd release party. so i think im going to that, although im worried i might have to work at the y that night because that’s the night of libby’s baccalaureate. i have to work tomorrow, 4-8. there’s probably going to be a good amount of people there though because there’s some memorial day special. and since it’s memorial day, i get to have a *fun* picnic with the relatives on the side of the family i dislike. !!!

we finally made it to hooters! me and noel and holly went last tuesday during clubs. they have excellent barbeque sandwiches.

uh, let’s see. yesterday i helped out with this triathalon at the pool… niki needed people to do it, so most of the senior cheerleaders came in. lynnae thinks we should put together a relay for next year. id do it; id end up doing the swimming part because I suck at bike riding, and lynnae would do the running obviously. 3 miles. that’s nuts. niki took us out for breakfast afterwards as a sorf of thank you for helping… we discussed stuff about this season. there’s no more competition band now, the evil school board ousted it, so logically we were thinking comp. cheering would be the next to go. she doesn’t think it’ll happen though. it better not.
