im feeling very lethargic. the school board meeting was tonight, and it wasnt quite as boring as you think those kind of things are going to be. i thought i would get all fired up because, well, i dont like most of the school board and have complained about them before i was old enough to know what i was saying, but most of the things were pssa scores (we were asked our opinions on that, i rattled off some bs), resignations, approvals of booters people, and other stuff i dont care about. they approved all of our competitions which was great, and this one guy commended us for not asking to compete on a sunday and extend our season to december, which goes against the school board policy, but that pissed me off because we SHOULD be able to compete more than one freaking month, and on as many sundays as we want. assholes. and then this other guy, who i really dislike, shook his head like we were some kind of lost cause because we wanted to take a weekend trip to pittsburgh and stay an extra night to go shopping. but they cant not let us stay there because we're getting our parents to sign things that say the school district is no longer responsible after the competition. HA, guy who i really dislike. oh and also, i guess we're using the pool at the old altoona y for practice. it's only 3 lanes, but at least we dont have to go to juniata.
