i got up at 9 for church today, and it was like 9:25 which is when i usually leave because i can never be on time for anything, ever. but my dad was still here and he usually leaves before that.
it was than that i realized that it was, indeed, 8:25. someone had told me about switching the clocks but i forgot! thanks for not reminding me, sid.
the only other thing i did today was go into target and buy 3 (three!) books, and then i came home and napped and read. i already finished one (stargirl by jerry spinelli...it was pretty good) but i cant let myself read the other ones until i get done with the great gatsby because the class starts friday! oh my.
i dont really feel like re-experiencing the bg scouting except to say that they're damn good [difficulty and no wobbles??], and we need a LOT of work. and they're a lot ruder than i thought previously.
last night emma called me out of the blue and asked me if i wanted to go to a party that this kid she likes was going to be at. it was outside, which is my least favorite kind of party when its like -9237 degrees, and in the middle of nowhere, and i didnt know that many people, but it was still kind of fun. there was a fire and food, at least. we met a girl on the hollidaysburg swim team who was really nice...but turned out to have a crush on the same guy as emma. :-o it wasnt like, hostile or anything though. or even uncomfortable, really.
i think im getting sick in one way or another. my head colds usually start out with a sore throat so i can never tell if it's that or something like tonsilitis. i have those halls vitamic c things <3 though so im getting through it.
sooo excited about barnes and noble/baby's/the creamery/penn state stores wednesday. !!
